Who operates the site and acceptance of the terms

newstrixnu operates this website as a commercial platform providing Course A newsroom production tools. By accessing or using the site you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree you must stop using the site immediately. These terms constitute a binding contract under the laws of the United Kingdom.

Eligibility and permitted use

Users must be at least eighteen years of age and capable of entering into a contract. Access is granted solely for professional news production activities including editorial structure planning, studio reports, camera setup guidance, audio preparation and workflow optimisation. Any other use requires prior written consent from newstrixnu.

Prohibited conduct

You must not attempt to disrupt service availability, reverse engineer software, upload malicious code, misuse customer data or engage in any activity that breaches UK data protection legislation. Violations may result in immediate account suspension and legal action.

Accounts, submissions and user content

Where accounts are created you are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of login details. Any content submitted such as workflow templates or production notes remains your responsibility. newstrixnu may review submissions to ensure compliance with these terms but does not claim ownership of your original material.

Ownership of site content, trademarks and permitted limited use

All platform documentation, interface designs and training materials remain the exclusive property of newstrixnu. Trade marks and logos may not be reproduced without express permission. Limited personal use for internal training is allowed provided no commercial redistribution occurs.

Third-party services and links

The platform may integrate external tools for video encoding or cloud storage. newstrixnu does not control or endorse these services and accepts no liability for their performance or data practices. Users should review third-party terms separately.

Availability, changes, suspension and termination

Service uptime is not guaranteed. newstrixnu may modify features, suspend access or terminate accounts for breach of terms. Notice will be provided where practicable via the contact form on the site.

Disclaimers that remain subject to mandatory consumer law

The platform is provided on an as-is basis. While reasonable care is taken to ensure accuracy of guidance on camera setup and audio preparation no warranty is given regarding uninterrupted operation or fitness for any particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

Limitation of liability

Subject to mandatory UK consumer rights newstrixnu total liability arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the fees paid in the twelve months preceding any claim. This cap applies to all claims whether in contract tort or otherwise.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify newstrixnu against losses arising from your breach of these terms or from content you submit that infringes third-party rights.

Governing law, courts and consumer dispute rights

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales unless you are a consumer residing in another part of the United Kingdom in which case local courts may apply. Alternative dispute resolution options remain available under consumer protection rules.

Severability, waiver, changes, contact route and last-updated date

If any provision is found unenforceable the remainder continues in force. Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver. newstrixnu may update these terms periodically with changes effective upon posting.
